All roles are open. Swings/Understudies may be cast/considered. Must be 16+ to audition for all roles except Susan Waverly (White Christmas) and Susan Walker (Miracle on 34th Street). Must be 8+ to audition for either Susan. Please bring headshot and resume with you to audition.
Please also bring an up-to-date schedule or calendar to make note of the tentative rehearsal schedule.
Please prepare 16 bars of a song in the style of the show and/or a Golden Age song to be sung a cappella (does not need to be a Christmas song). You may be asked to learn/sing a song from one of the shows at auditions, so familiarity with the cast recordings are highly encouraged.
Be prepared to perform cold readings from the script.
There will be a dance audition, so please bring or wear clothes that you can move in and that show our choreographer how you move.
*If you own tap shoes, please bring them for a tap audition (White Christmas).
Irving Berlin’s WHITE CHRISTMAS Performance Dates:
Friday and Saturday & select Thursday* evenings November 27, 28, December 4, 5, 10*, 11, 12, 18, & 19, and Sunday matinees November 29, December 6 & 13, and special Saturday matinee (10:30AM Doors open) December 12. Additional performances may be added if needed based upon cast availability.
MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET Performance Dates:
Friday and Saturday & select Thursday* evenings November 20, 21, 28, December 4, 5, 11, 12, 17*, 18, & 19, Sunday matinees November 29, December 6, 13, & 20, and special Saturday matinee (10:30AM Doors open) December 5.
Additional performances may be added if needed based upon cast availability.
All performers will be paid a per-performance stipend. Additionally, those cast will be given the opportunity to join the restaurant service staff (if legally eligible, and following training) where they may earn gratuities.
Must reside within driving distance to Hagerstown, MD for WHITE CHRISTMAS. Housing is not provided.
Must reside within driving distance to Frederick, MD for MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET. Housing is not provided.
