Steel Magnolia’s is set in Truvy’s beauty salon in Chinquapin, Louisiana. Helped by her assistant Annelle, Truvy dispenses shampoos and free advice to the rich curmudgeon, Ouiser, Clairee, the former Mayor’s wife, and M’Lynn, whose daughter Shelby (the prettiest girl in town) is about to marry a “good ole boy.” Robert Harling’s Steel Magnolias is truly touching, funny and marvelously entertaining.

Gigi features the memorable tunes “Thank Heaven For Little Girls,” “I Remember It Well,” “The Night They Invented Champagne,” “It’s a Bore,” and more. The film was the winner of 9 Academy Awards including Best Picture!

For the first time ever, an original adaptation of A Christmas Carol – A Ghost Story of Christmas comes to The Playhouse stage. Return to Victorian England for the story of a bitter old miser named Ebenezer Scrooge and his transformation and redemption following visitations by the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come.
